About Janski Publishing & Our Partnership Publishing Deal

Many excellent writers spend years trying to land a publishing deal. If they eventually succeed, it can still take another year or two before they see their book on the shelves.  Invariably they will receive only a very small advance and a royalty of maybe 10% of the sale price, as opposed to the cover price. As wholesalers demand a 60% discount off the cover price, a 10% royalty isn't such a good deal, unless the book hits the best seller list. The chances are, the author, in order to land a publishing deal will be represented by a literary agent who will take probably 15% of the author's royalties. The author will also have to do all the marketing and promotional legwork themselves, because there is usually only a very limited marketing budget for new, unknown authors.

At Janski Publishing we are offering  writers the opportunity to become published using our unique partnership publishing deal.

We welcome writers with a gift for telling a story and writers of quality non-fiction.

We will carefully assess your submission  and if it is accepted (we do not charge a reading fee) we'll  agree publishing terms with you.  Your royalties will be 50% of the sale price and your book could be on the shelves within 6 weeks.

Our parent company, Janski Productions Limited are theatre producers, publishers and rights holders.

 The must read adventure thriller

5.0 out of 5 stars A pop star or the new Messiah? , 4 Dec 2008

Review by Jeff Bannister (UK)
HEAVEN'S DOOR by C.R. Chaston

The story focuses on the appeal and adulation of a modern day charismatic singer/songwriter who uses his gift of music to share his philosophy that love can eliminate all the conflict in the world. Although he refutes the claim, many of his followers believe he is the embodiment of Christ and the second coming. It has been foretold in testaments, long hidden in the vaults of the Vatican, that such a figure would emerge in the second millennium.

The musician, named Rodeo, tours the globe and his popularity escalates to worrying proportions for his adversaries. His two main opponents; a USA Presidential Candidate and a Cardinal with the intention to become the next Pope, regard the musician as a serious threat to their ambitions. They unite and hatch a plan to discredit Rodeo in a ruthless and comprising way.

The plot quickly develops into a fast paced thriller with an innovative twist towards the end but not until the last page do we discover if it's enough to save Rodeo from annihilation.

A good read with an intriguing concept and high adrenalin
moments.
